Mindful Yoga for Better Sleep
June 13, 2022 at 6:00 pm - 6:30 pm
| FreeYin Yoga is a practice based on the principles of Chinese medicine and Taoism. Welcome to the absolute restorative class that will allow you to practice a slow-paced sequence. This practice will help you to activate your parasympathetic nervous system which is responsible for our bodies ‘rest and digest’ functions. We are going to hold restorative yoga postures between 45 seconds to 2 minutes to increase flexibility, elasticity, and create a sense of relaxation.
In this session, we will:
- Practice postures that are easy to integrate to your daily evening routine
- Explore ways of preparing your body to slow down
- Practice postures that will help you release tension in the area of the hip and the thighs
