Restorative Yin Yoga
April 18, 2022 at 6:00 pm - 6:30 pm
The absolute gentle class that will allow you to practice a slow-paced sequence. During this class you will release tension in certain areas of the body and practice a kind of moving meditation. Yin Yoga is a practice based on the principles of Chinese medicine and Taoism. As fascia needs at least 120 seconds of sustained stretching to actually affect its elasticity we are going to hold postures for a longer period of time to increase flexibility.
In this session, we will:
- Target our deep connective tissues, like fascia, ligaments, joints, and bones
- Explore ways of lengthening connective tissue
- Practice postures that will help us to boost our circulation
